I love "aurora hunting" even though they are challenging to find. The conditions for the northern lights must be just right: clear skies, active aurora activity, no light pollution, and a night where she can stay up late enough to catch them dancing. It is often the case that the northern lights will come up just after you give up and go to bed for the night!
