Glaciers, Ice and Winter Scenes

Glaciers are huge masses of ice that flow like very slow rivers. There are are more glaciers in Alaska than anywhere else in the U.S, and it's astounding to see their many shapes and shades of blue. It's a special treat to hike to a glacier or to see the brilliant colors of wildflowers contrasting with their deep blues.
