Wildlife and Birds

One of the amazing aspects of living in Alaska is the ability to see wild animals such as bears, moose and other animals while hiking, on boat excursions or even in our back yards. Some animals take a bit more effort to see, such as watching the fabled Otis catch fish at Katmai National Park. It's also a wonder to see the thousands of migratory birds that travel to Alaska each spring and sadly leave at the end of summer.
